My life as a musician started very early. When I was a child, my mother used to take me to the church. There, I had an intense contact with music. I have always sung in choirs and I have participated in some plays, dealing with the musical stuff.
When I was 10 years old, my mother enrolled me in a music school where I started to attend piano classes. I have studied there for a long time. Sometime later, I have found a guitar that was “abandoned” at home. From that day on, my passion for music started. Then, I have realized that I would like to spend my whole life in contact with music.
I have attended private guitar classes, and after that, I have studied at ULM - Universidade Livre de Música - (current Center of Musical Studies Tom Jobim) for one year and a half, where I studied deep Classical guitar.
After my classes at ULM, I started a Bachelorship in Music at FAAM/FMU - Alcântara Machado Arts College. After this program, I had private classes with the well – known guitar players like Fernando Corrêa and Michel Leme.
After some years working as a guitar player and a teacher, I started an Education Specialization course (Latu -Sensu ) at Uni- FMU. After, I was approved for the Music Masters degree at UNESP, which one a finished on August of 2008.
My musical life has been divided between playing and Academic research.
Nowadays I have been living in London looking for new ways to my playing.
